Capybaras on the loose
TROPICAL ECOLOGY
About me
Hi, I'm Adeline and welcome to my blog!
I am currently a final year student pursuing Bachelor of Environmental Science in Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus. With my fascination towards tropical ecology, I created this blog to share with you how beautiful it is as it stands as the champion of all ecosystems around the world.
Join me on this journey to explore the marvels of the tropical ecosystem!
Introduction to Tropical regions
Tropical regions are situated near the equator which is concentrated around the centre of the globe including parts of Africa, South and North America, Asia, and Australia. Constant exposure to sunlight around the equator leads to warm and more consistent climate in the tropics with an average temperature between 25-28˚ C all year round. Hence, they do not experience four seasons like the remaining regions on Earth. Besides that, the region receives considerable amount of rainfall every year which provides an ideal environment for diverse array of flora, fauna and aquatic life creating a paradise of life.

Some common tropical animals that we use to think of are tigers, gorillas, anaconda and hornbills.
In this blog, I will be introducing an adorable tropical animal that is on trend recently due to its calming and friendly character:
CAPYBARA
I will be sharing interesting facts about capybaras such as their anatomy, habitat, social behaviour and their interaction with the environment throughout this blog.
